In collaboration with the California Innocence Project, we were assigned different cases to analyze and determine if the case should be approved or denied on a presentation for the Lawyers.
Lately I've been really into film photography. These are not my photographs but soon I will upload a couple of my own
And now I'm wondering... What is the story behind the grizzly bear? How can a bear represent a place which is mostly known for its humid semi-tropical weather? Who decided that the bear would be part of the flag? (that is, who designed the flag?). Reflection: The original question I chose to answer was "Why do we have a bear on our flag", the answers were really general so I decided to make a the question a bit more specific. This way I was able to find short yet informative answers. The information was definitely trustworthy since I compared it with several websites and other sources On this mini-project, we started by asking ourselves a whole bunch of question that we have about Biology and US History on teams of four. Out of all those questions we chose the top 6 questions that seemed more interesting for us and out of those six we answered one. The answer had to be short and simple andwith the source or citation included.
I had a lot of questions for both Biology and Humanities so it was definitely hard to choose only one. The answer to my question was actually harder than I thought to find, so I had to be more specific with my question. One of the hardest things was the editing, but I got it done just as required. Overall, it was a great mini-project to start the year and to realize that is perfectly fine to not know something, as long as we want to answer our questions. |
